About this blog

..But anything worth doing is worth doing badly..” from Failing and Flying by Jack Gilbert.

Why read this blog? Perhaps, like me, most of your working years are behind you — but the joy of learning and discovery lie ahead. Perhaps, like me, you explore the world around you to recharge your connection to, well, being human. These days, I find refuge in the Adirondack wilderness but I also find great joy wandering through vibrant cities and small villages. I travel to learn more about my fellow humans, and about myself.

Follow this blog for my explorations of the Adirondacks, of (hopefully) aging well, and of traveling the world, both near and far.
